  • Chopped fresh or drained frozen spinach
  • Diced onions
  • Chopped fresh parsley and dill
  • Ricotta and feta cheeses
  • Eggs
  • Salt, pepper and nutmeg
  • Phyllo dough


Begin by sauteing your onions in extra virgin olive oil. Add the spinach, parsley, and dill – cook until the spinach cooks down. Continue cooking until the moisture is almost gone from the pan, remove from heat and set aside to cool.

Butter your pans and start separating the phyllo dough. You’ll want to butter each layer as you go. Layer the ingredients and cook for approximately 25 minutes at 350 degrees.

  • Ground lamb or beef
